A file exists in program files/directory/filename.exe. The file does not have any attributes set on it. The GetFile() function finds the file, but the file() function passed a variable says it does not exist. If file() is used as file(var,1) if finds the file. There are obviously differences between the way GetFile() and File() work, but how am I to understand what is happening here.

The run command also fails to work saying the the file does not exist.

Thanks!
A problem is a problem only as long as it has a possible solution. Lacking that, it becomes a FACT!
