This page break behavior feels more like a bug than a feature; if the optional detail area is not there, it is strange that the report engine would calculate the need for a page break. My client produces product catalogs and the optional bands allow them to vary their page layouts for better overall readability.

Do you know if this default page break behavior is modifiable? I am fairly new to the VFP 9 reporting engine and wonder if this behavior can be modified. The benefits would be enormous.
