Hi experts,

Our application is in VFP 8 SP1 on Win. XP with the data in SQL server 2000.
The connection handle is acquired at the application load level and disconnected only on application 'Exit'.
Various users report that after a period of inactivity (application kept minimized), the connection handle is lost and the application crashes with the 'Connection lost' error message.

Various web-sites suggested checking the LAN hub, switch etc for problems. This was done and found all to be in good order. Also, there was a suggestion to deselect the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" setting in the 'network connections'>>'LAN Connections'>>Configuration. This was done as well. Still no joy.

Will greatly appreciate any pointers from gurus on where I have gone wrong.

TIA,
Rajesh
