I see the logic of your reply, but this was not the original problem. The orig problem was that File(), passed the path and file name, reported the file as missing even though the file was there and getfile() would find it. The file had no attributes set so why did File() not find it.
A problem is a problem only as long as it has a possible solution. Lacking that, it becomes a FACT!
