>I am trying to use VFP to create a relatively complex report in Word. I've tackled the basics of instantiating a Word object and inserting some "raw" VFP data into it. However, I cannot get Word to create nicely formatted tables to display the data. What is the syntax needed to create a blank table in a Word document, set each column's formatting, and populate the table with data from a VFP cursor?

Anytime I've needed to do any Word/Excel programming, I've found the easiest thing to do is to record a macro. Start recording, do whatever you need your program to do (or as much as possible) using the normal menus. Then stop the recording and take a look at the code generated. It'll give you a good start on doing the same thing in your code.
