I did a pre-launch on Saturday night. I have eight platform pieces that are known as "16-shot racks". Each one has 16 tubes with 3" shells inside. You light the base fuse and it shoots off the 16 tubes, with a few seconds in between.

So about 11 PM, I tip-toed out to the backyard - the neighbors behind us were having a swimming party for their daughter who just graduated high school. I shot off one of the racks, and it caught them all by surprise. (By the way, there is plenty of open space between houses in our neighborhood - each family has betweeen 1 and 1.5 acres of land).

And now I have seven racks left (along with about 50 tubes, several boxes of shells, and a bunch of Roman Candles)...but it was worth it, just to hear a bunch of teenage girls scream. ;)
