In my totally impartial and unbiased opinion it was an outrage!!! One of the worst decisions ever!!! Only Australians should be allowed to referee World Cup matches <s>. Maybe Australia should have resorted to hand balls and rugby tackles, seems to have worked for their opposition without penalty.

Since when has going for the ball and the other player running into you been considered a penalty. The Italian player would have scored perfect marks at the Olympic Diving <s>. Lucas Neill was lying on the ground not moving when the Italian decided to fall over him.
