I have quite a bit of experience with FoxUnit. It is definitely useful for doing test driven development, or simply for setting up groups of tests that you can repeat indefinitely. The web pages I listed have more discussion and examples.

It might not fit your needs precisely as a "scripting" tool. But, then again, it offers a lot of capability in a fairly simple package. For instance, I use it to manage tests of UI components, though these are not "unit tests" per se.

FoxUnit is distributed for no cost under an open-source license.
