There is no upsetting news. Just those with an resonable understanding of events and those without.

As soon as you said that someone distributing a product like Great Plains is encrouching on your territory as a developer, you threw up a sign that said "I don't get it".

As a developer I can not ever hope to develop a product with the breadth of GP unless I had made a fortune during the dotcom days that could fund such an effort.

My best hope is to be able to learn about and be able to support a product such as GP. So I can hang on the coattails of MS. I suppose you don't want to learn Oracle database at all, because Oracle manufacters Oracle Financials and Peoplesoft.

Let me know as soon as your version of Great Plains is ready for the Alpha phase.
