>In Fox 2x there was a know problem with sys(0) in that it did not recognize some configurations of Novell. Has this problem been fixed to the point that I can be confident that Sys(0) will always tell me the network name of a computer? Thanks... Calvin

I have been told to be wary of SYS(0) before because of this, and I really doubt that the internal workings of SYS(0) changed at all.

I have continued to use it nonetheless, I just check it on each configuration (most of the software I author is single site, with the exception of one commercial product in which I avoided SYS(0)). So far, I have used it on Windows 95 workstation running on Novell 3.12 and 4.0, and Windows NT Workstation Running on Novell 3.12 and NT Server. The behavior has been consistent as of yet.
