It seems like a long time ago now but I was in the same camp when we invaded in 2003. Our government had assured us Iraq had WMDs, and on that basis I was in favor of the mission as dirty work that needed to be done. Needless to say, when the allegations were never substantiated I lost faith in the mission and its motives. For sure I will never again take anything this administration says at face value.
