In general, I like to publish code samples, but the code I currently use (to update the DB structure) relies heavily on a specific framework (VFX). So, I would have to redesign it to make it public.
In fact, VFX already had the "client-site update" facility, but it was practically worthless for me, because they had forgotten to do the required checks and copy the parent table before the child table, giving me "trigger failed" when I happened to modify the structures of both parent and child.
