You have to prove me otherwise. I've not seen anything yet that proves your case.
It is not about appreciation. It is about the cause of the fall of the sovjet empire. Despite of all the links you throw at me I don't see any prove of that the fall of the sovjet empire was not caused by internal affairs and poor economical management, but directly to actions of the US.

1. The US did not military overrun the sovject union.
2. The US did convince the USSR by threads.
3. The US did not buy out the USSR.

The reasons of the fall of the USSR need far more to be searched in cathastrophic political mistakes in USSR anways.
