Yes, I understand. Do you have some ideas how should I fix my program (in the first message) to correctly set table's code page if I encounter non-standard characters in the fields? Also does it mean I have to read each cell value trying to determine its character set?

For myself I don't have the problem since I'm dealing with English in Excel only. But since I received about 5 e-mails from Mohammad and had to deal with that Excel, I want the program to be robust enough to handle various languages.
