>When I use the Class Browser and try to add the VCX to the Visual FoxPro Catalog it gives me an Open dialog box and when I highlight my VCX no classnames list in the right-hand pane labelled "Classnames". Does this mean my VCX is empty? My goal is to strip RTF formatting from text files as I move the text into a memo field. I'm at a loss as to how this worked before and now does not. I can't use the RTF Control for this as that is just for changing fontsize, selecting a font, etc and not an Edit Box. Can you point me to an article or two on how to get this going? I've only used Objects a few times.

Yes you can use the RTF control - it can do all that and more. You may just create the OC class in this classlib, as a subclass of the RTF control, and then use its .textRTF and .text properties to parse the text to your liking. Specifically, if you load the RTF text into the .textRTF property, you can get the unformatted (i.e. just text) from the .text property and you're done.
