I know it does not represent that much, but starting tomorrow, the 15% tax applicable on the goods and services provided by Level Extreme will be decreased by 1%. So, based on our case against the Canadian Government, this represents a small good news in the current situation.
The Canadian legislative provisions, announced in its Budget 2006 (Bill C-13), which provide for the GST/HST rate reduction, have been enacted and are now law. Effective July 1st, 2006, these rates of tax will be reduced to 14%, in regards to the province of New Brunswick, which means a decrease of 1% tax. This means, goods and services purchased on the Level Extreme Internet infrastructure will be subject to 14% sales tax instead of 15%.
