I couldn't agree more. I've been quite willing to give the guy credit. When critiquing annother's code I usually figure even if it's not MY way, it's a valid way. After all, one of the advantages to using FoxPro has always been that there are usually several ways to do any given task. But, IMO, this is a method that offers no benefits and many drawbacks. At one point, I even offered to re-write the entire app for a rediculously low price because in the long run, it would make my life much easier. Fortunately, or is it unfortunately, they didn't take me up on it.
