I'm getting this error (2091) intermittently on a table that I purge on a daily basis. I started the purge routine about 3 months ago, but the error didn't start occurring right away. Looking at the corrupted table through FoxFix shows that the Header record count and the physical count are out of sync.

In the purge routine I get down to one running instance of my WC app, then close data, then pack the table. The error occurs after I've closed the data and try to re-open the table.

I've read the KB article on a fix for this error, which is to set tablevalidate to 0, then add a dummy column, then drop it. However, I'd like to stop the error from occurring altogether.
