I doubt that this is an easy one as it is pretty specific, but i thought i'd try here rather than spend another 5 hours on this. any advice is greatly appreciated.

i have the pinnacle bps graphing activex control. i have used it on my computer at work and it works fine (win2000). i've also used it on 2 other computers (both xp home) and everything works fine on those as well. now, i'm trying to use it on my home computer and it isn't working (xphome).

what specifically is happening is this: i have a form with the pinnacle graph as an activex object on it. normally in design mode, the object will display random data. now, on my home computer, it only shows up as a rectangular box (ie as an empty control). i can adjust the properties of the activex control but nothing changes (this makes be believe that at least a portion of the control is registered properly). in run time, all i get is an empty result (not even a graph).

i've tried to unregister and then register the activex control using:
regsvr32.exe /u graph32.ocx
regsvr32.exe graph32.ocx

both occur without errors and say they were completed successfully. however, nothing changes. what is interesting is that when i unregister the activex control (and before i re-register it), i can still access it in my project (with the limitations described above). this leads me to think that there is another version of the control that is registered on my comptuer that is being used, but i did a search for graph32.ocx, and all i came up with is the one listed in system32.

i'm stumped, and not being knowledgeable about this, all my searching on google has made me more confused than before. I'm hoping that someone here can help. Thanks if you can!
