I'm trying to run a VFP5 EXE as a NT Service to run in the background.

I'm using NT4. I'm using the SRVANY.EXE and I am following the steps to place the proper parameters in the registry.

However, the NT service that I created won't start when I click on the Start button in the control panel - Services icon. I get a NT error message.

However, when I enter the command to start the service in the Parameters line, the service starts.

In my parameters line I enter "/d c:\\mydir c:\\mydir\\myvfpexe.exe".
This starts the service up correctly. But it won't startup "Automatically" or when I press the Start button.

Has anyone come across this before?

Thanks,

Jerryt
