AFAIK, I didn't say anything (at least in this thread), about blindly accepting their conclusion. (OK, so I will say it now: I do believe the Earth is warming up.)
But the point is, we can't start discussing about whether the generally-accepted conclusions are right or wrong, if you don't have the faintest notion what the "greenhouse effect" is all about. Because the "greenhouse effect" is the central point of the argument; not thermodynamics, or heat capacity.
Now, if you don't want to do any reading on the "greenhouse effect", there is really no point in discussing about whether it does, or doesn't, exist, if yes, how great the effect is, and how great is the role of humans involved.
