>>I am testing the Filter Dialog found in the solution samples. How does one get it to set a filter condition where you want all records that do not have an entry in a certain text field? I have a small table and this is the simple query capability that I need if I could use it to find text fields with missing data.

Rich - it doesn't like isblank() either. The control is nice for some smaller tables and pretty easy for the users to use. The answer Cetin gave really fixed a short coming in the control.
