No - had to google for a first audio. We get here mostly american sitcom revolving around "family themes", which is something I usually don't care for. There is some loss dumb translation - I had access to afn tv up until the early nineties and AFAIR all shows were better if viewed in english. In the shows running here for me most of the "gags" are not surprising and the whole setup (mostly a BIG family with at least one cuddly small one) smells targeted - which is especially bad if the target exists mostly in the US.
Saturday night live was great - over here nobody would have dared back then the things they tried, and the first comedy tries of german stand ups in non-government produced TV were mirrors recycling some of their themes. Shows like the tonight show or more stand-up oriented attempts probably won't work here, as most of the people are unwilling to listen to it in english and translated "family comedy" can be recycled more often <g>.
