There was a Christmas special some years ago, with BA in Dickensian London (at Xmas time), as a shop-owner. This was very different in that BA was a nice guy, a bit slow and trusting, and much put-upon by "friends" and relatives, used, abused, dispossessed. It was a bit like Xmas Carol in reverse, with BA as the "anti-Scrooge", Very odd but very funny.

Did you ever catch that?

Also, over here we have an annual "Children in Need" telethon, in which there may well have been BA specials (I seem to recall), for charity, but the whole evening's event so irks me that I aways go the pub that night.
