Hi Michael.
In order to answer your questions, I went back and checked and discovered:
(1) if I press < alt >+q quickly, the cursor moves to the button, but does not execute click() and the button does not got up and down, but:
(2) if I press < alt )+q and hold it for a second, the click() operates.

>Does the button get clicked(go up and down) when you press the hotkey even though the click event code does not fire?
