No question, Owens performance in the SB was amazing. But it's still a team game. And you just don't here the bickering on teams that consistently win.

>Well, we won't be able to probe that theory until next year, given that this will be his first season with the Cowboys.

>I think it would be more accurate to say McNabb burned his bridges with T.O. The only time the Eagles have been to the Super Bowl in recent memory was when T.O. led them there, on a half broken leg. Say what you will about him -- and I have made some comments myself -- the guy can play. His tenure in Philly was stormy but he still caught about a touchdown a game. Players like that are much rarer than QBs who lay an egg in the Super Bowl.

>>I think this and next season will give us a better idea. The NFL analysts I've heard talk are looking for great stuff from McNabb this year. And we will see if Owens continues his trend of burning bridges with his QB after 2 yrs on a new team.

>>>>Why would anyone be surprised that T.O. trashes Donovan McNabb in his book? It's well known that they don't like each other.
>>>>
>>>>T.O. is a jerk and has repeatedly been a locker-room cancer in his career.

>>>>Having said that, there are elements of truth in his book.

>>>>IMO, McNabb was jealous of T.O., and acted out on his jealousy. McNabb is definitely tight in big games. He's a good but not great QB. If you could somehow quantify the physical conditioning of the "top" QBs in the NFL, I wouldn't be surprised if McNabb was in the lower part of the list. And the ugly truth is that, despite all the antics, Owens had his share of supporters on the team. (Though that might have changed over time).

>>>>T.O. was never a good fit in Philly. Not sure he'll be a better fit in Dallas, but it'll be interesting!

>>>Least we forget he was at San Francisco first. He gets "better with age". :)
