Dmitry,
>Thank you for sharing the school experience. This is exactly what I wanted to know. I am thinking of going to an immersion school too (although I am learning Spanish). Maybe some day.<Personally, I think this (immersion school) is the best way to learn a language. I don't think I would have stuck to it as much if I had done it either on my own or through a college course.
> And I immerse myself in Spanish every single day anyway: I read magazines, online news, watch CNN in Spanish and TV History channel in Spanish. <Gary does that too ... I haven't though ... I just feel like I don't have enough hours in the day to do this. Although, now that I've had exposure to the French language, I may start reading some simple French books (you know, like children's books or the Asterix comic books).
My problem is that colloquially they speak Spanish so fast that it is hard to understand them. I think French speak much more like normal people <gr&d>.<Yes, I think the Spanish language is spoken much faster than French ... I think that'd be a tough language to learn. Good luck to you!!!
>BTW, Gary is a great guy to take you to Nice, you are lucky!Yep!!!!
