Thanks for that. I just discovered that the default theme of XP has a lot to do with the look of the application. My app was developed in W2K and as soon as I viewed it on an XP with the standard XP theme it all became clear. Nothing like stumbling into answering your own question.

Actually, it looks as if development is moving to an XP.
