Hi all,

I just reinstalled VFP5.0 and installed the VSSP3 on the recommendation from a fellow programmer and still no luck. It appears to be a bug with my copy of VFP (5.0).

We even did the following test. Created a a new table in my root directory which has one field "field1" and one record "testdata". Next we created a new report (not using wizards or anything, just 'new file') with only a the field1 field in the detail line.

When I issue 'REPORT FORM report1 PREVIEW' from the command window, the report comes up in preview mode, but again, when I hit the the Print icon on the preview screen I come up with the "Report contains a nesting error" message.

I give up. My users just won't be able to preview their reports.

>>Hi all!

>>Ok, I've got some reports that I want to call from a menu. Fine.
>>
>>For each report, I'd like to have two menu options, "Preview Report" and "Print Report". Done.
>>
>>For the "Preview Report" menu option, I use a "REPORT FORM contacts PREVIEW" command, which works fine, but if you hit the print button on the print preview toolbar, I get a "Report contains a nesting error" message. After looking here and in some of my books, it almost looks like you can't print from the preview mode of a report. Can this be true??
>>
>>If it is, can I disable the print button on the preview toolbar so my users don't get confused and think they can print from the preview screen??
>>
>>MTIA!
