Kevin,

I still can't get blank dates to save back to FoxPro. I tried setting the text box value to DBNull.Value in the after text changed method but get an error that it is an invalid string value. I tried setting the text box value to DBNull.Value.ToString() in the after text changed method of the field. I still get the same error "String is not recognized as a valid datetime". I also tried tried each of those options in the click method of my save button right before the call to the business object's saverow method.

It looks like the Mere Mortals validation requires a non-blank value for all datetime fields. I'm at a loss as to what to do other than making my FoxPro fields string fields, which I don't want to do because I want do do calculations with the dates and don't want to have to do a conversion each time.

Thanks for your help.
