What is your VFP temp folder? Do you have enough rights and is it clean?

Also it could be bad Excel installation. If the first idea would not fix the problem, you may need to re-install Excel. The problem also could be with Excel template files.

BTW, I assume you have loExcel, rather than 0Excel as the variable name (e.g. not 0 as the first char). And also are you sure you're not running Excel already? Check what processes are running.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
