As a weekend soccer's player.. I can say you:

Who enjoy to play soccer (or any other full contact sport) knows that.. Even the most cold guy one day will blowup.. it is normal!! And, it is totally impossible play soccer with that control that you mention here... Sports, in general, means passion, means hot blood.. for full imcompatiblity, soccer (as other sport) demands 100% of our body and mind..

Between our weekend fellows we have a kind of code that says: "soccer's discussions/fight can't go outside of the field"

Zidane was still elected the best player of world cup.. his "hulk moment" didn't blot his career.. for sure..
