I would assume that Evan feels like I do. So you are correct that any discussion is fruitless. I 100% believe that the administration, in particular the neocons and Cheney had alterial motives in Iraq. They looked for any information that implicated the country and Saddam in 9-11. As soon as information was discovered it was used. No matter that along with that information came substantial information that the evidence was probably false.

I don't know if you are refusing to believe that our govt could stoop to that level, or what your believes are in what got us into this mess. But of all the information available, looking in hindsite, the only scenario that is 100% provable is that their were forces in the administration that had certain desires that required a govt change in Iraq. And they used 9-11 as an excuse to proceed to carry out that goal.
