Hi all

I have a small installation utility that checks for all available drives using getdisk() and setdisk(). Till now I used to avoid the first 2 drive letters for the floppy disks, but that now no longer holds true. I would now like to limit the drive letters to HDDs only. I tried chdir() to root directory of each and every drive letter found but that raises a lot of Abort, Retry, Fail errors. Though if I Fail the message I get the right no. of drive letters.

Is there any way to find out the HDD letters. Please note this is in C and for DOS.

Please advise.
