What is more efficient:

SQL PT dataset (variable no of records but within a range of records)
INDEX on a field

SCAN
   SEEK(in "MySQLPTCursor")
   Do other stuff
ENDSCAN

SCAN
   SQL PT single record as needed
   Do other stuff
ENDSCAN

Please advise.
