We have "resolved" it.
The report contained no printer information. It correctly printed landscape with the Adobe driver when I didn't use the report listener. When I used the RL, VFP printed portrate.
I copied the report information from a report that was working correctly.

The next issue is that printing from the preview when using the report listener spools very slow.
