To tell you the truth I'm new to Visual Foxpro and have to fumble my through the environment from time to time. I'm also a Pesimistic type person utilizing that record locking mech. as well, from what I've heard and read tableUpdate() and tableRevert() are for Optimistic record locks which I'm not using. I'm using scatter to quickly setup memory variables to use in conjuction with the controls on my form without giving the user direct control over the fields in the tables.
