It is now connecting. The problem was that I was expecting a numeric return for the "Connect" method.

The problem now is that it cannot complete a download. I'm getting an OLE error "0x80020006: Unknown name", and so far their support has suggested that I upgrade my VFP 8 to SP1, but that does not help much, as I am already using VFP _9_ SP1.

The syntax I've been using is
object.GetFile("local_folder","remote_file")

Suggestions?
