Something like 1.2 million party members? 25 million farmers were forced to state farms and collectivism killed 14.5 million people. During that process the agricultural output actually went down 25%. Let's see, Stalin also believed that England and the U.S. would fall (well imperialism anyway) and socialism would prevail. Socialism is moving across the globe, so maybe he will be proven right afterall. Now that's a scary thought.

I've already said that stalinism is a close second after fascism/nazism in my book. As for that being a socialism, no thanks, wrong brand.
