I actually started to implement the solution in Message #
1125431 before lunch. When I saw your message, I decided that I didn't want my dog in that fight.
Like you, I am not a lawyer and the XZip product is certainly a viable solution. I do not expect that this app will be used by more than two people, so managing the dll is not really all that big a deal.

1125431 has nothig with WinXP and DynaZip API. It uses pure VFP code (STRTOFILE()) and uses a Windows scripting Class (nothing YOU to do with DynaZip) What this class used is not your problem, I think so, but you should ask somebody more educated in law than me :o)
