This is dBase IV. That was in the original title, but it somehow got truncated as I was submitting.
The problem with running it in Fox is that it uses dBase tables and indexes, and I'm hesitant to make any changes to them for fear of damaging the original MDX files.
I HAVE run one or two of the old programs directly in Fox, adding the SET COMPATIBLE and a few other necessary changes, but the data still is maintained in dBase, and updating a table from VFP is deadly to that.
