The countries that have had their governments taken over by radical islam were islamic before, but usually run by a dictator. Examples:
- Iran
- Afghanistan (though reversed by NATO in 2001)

Somilia is 99.3% muslim to start with. You're implying a tidal wave of Islam, but so far is just overthrow of dictatorships with theocracies. As mentioned by Jim Somilia has barely been a country for the last decade or so. Some group was going to step into the void.
