Is Steve Sawyer's View Editor still required in VFP9

Hi all
Previously I used to use VFP6 and due to limitation of it I had to use View Editor by Steve Sawyer. Are the limitation removed and can the view designer in vfp9 suffice for all kinds of view SQLs?
Please advise.
