That's what many people miss about religion. It's all about faith there there is a higher power. If there were some proof, there would be no faith.
Do you have a doctor? Do you trust him (ie have faith that he'll make you better and give you good advice to stay healthy)? Keep in mind that 90% of what medicine and science says about how the body works is theory. They don't have proof that it really works that way. They extrapolate the evidence and make a best guess.
Religion is much the same way.
>Of course, you knew that he meant more than just "see." I have a hard time believing in much myself without some reasonable proof. Then again, what's reasonable to me can be totally different for someone else.
