Actually, 2 is the tray ID for the manual feed tray according to the printer's documentation. I haven't run your code at all. There is no one on site authorized to do it and the printer isn't installed for remote access so I can't do it myself. At one point I created an input box for a user to test various tray ID numbers and "2" did send a document to the manual feed tray from the host PC.

Are you saying though that the tray ID could be different for other PCs on the network? That would be a nightmare to accommodate. At the moment I'm still reeling over the fact that there are at least 6 different device names returned by Set("printer",3)! In fact, I'm willing to blame the lack of control over tray IDs for LAN users to the way the printer is installed--and they are working on correcting that.

However, the host PC should still be able to send labels to the manual feed tray since our earlier input test of "2" did work. Somehow DEFAULTSOURCE=2 in the Picture field isn't working and it didn't seem to work from the Expr field either. Is there any other statment that needs to be included as well? Currently, there is no reference to the printer or the spooler. Is that required?
