Why would they denouce them when rapture is a part of their faith. It's just that for vast majority of Christians rapture is a side thought and not part of their every day life and certainly not something thing ponder every minute of their life as Jim is suggesting. For the most part, they're just like you and me. They go to work, pay their bills and take care of their family.

Those that are obsessed with anything too much is a little over the edge, IMO... as I catch myself getting too excited about golf at times.
The worst thing they can do for you is pray. Is that harmful?
