The label is included in the project--and labels have never gone to the manual feed tray using DEFAULTSOURCE=2. Sorry if I was unclear about that. I have sent sent output to the manual feed tray during testing but it was not labels; it was Word output created through VBA.

It does get confusing. There are 2 printing problems with this application at the moment, both limited to the 2430 printer: 1) no one can print labels to the manual feed tray, and 2) only one workstation can print to the letterhead tray (Word automation output.) I've been working on one or the other for over 3 weeks now--and long ago began to wish the client had NEVER bought that darned thing.

You asked about the Windows printer: Usually, the Windows printer is the same as the VFP printer--the 2430. If not, the application has to change it to the 2430 so that the Word output from the application goes there. This done using VBA and the original setting is restored when the routine is complete.

The client completed the installation of the 2430 printer as a network device over the weekend and has installed the printer driver on all workstations. [This does not appear to have solved either printing problem. I'm somewhat at a loss as to what else can be done.] Update as of 2100 hours PDT: all workstations are now able to print Word automation documents to the letterhead tray. Still no luck with labels but client says they can live with that...
