First suspect is not having the table open exclusively. What is the memo length and what does DISPLAY STRUCURE show for the memo blocksize? Are you 110% sure that some smaller memo size replace is not happening in the code anywhere?

>QA just found some records that are still experiencing bloat. I have confirmed this and even set breakpoints on LEN(Table.MemoField) and the length never changes. :(
