Our reports consist of either Arial or Courier New for fonts. This report has no graphics, except perhaps the line object. I don't know about drivers, that's not my department. Most of the printers aren't cutting edge though. We only have a couple of new printers in the building. I hear that the newer laser printers aren't so great, but I don't know if that's just trash talk or if there is some proof to the claim. At any rate, they buy a new printer when they have no choice.

>That sounds excesively long. Does the report contain graphics of any kind or just text? What font are you using? Have you tried updated printer drivers? Is the report spooled locally before being sent to the printer?

>>Nope, that didn't help. At first I thought it did, but then I realized that it may be cached commands. So I quit VFP and started it up again. It took 14 seconds between pages on the printer. So that's one minute and twenty four seconds to print a six page report. That would be 14 minutes for a sixty page report. Unacceptable.
Where's the damned Any Key?...too late
