Rip,

>I'm developing a web forms application. In development when a rule is broken on a save the warning.gif image shows up great next to the appropriate control. However when I release it to production the warning.gif image does not show up. When I look at the page source from the production server I see the img src='//images/warning.gif' whereas from the dev server it is src='/TTI/images/warning.gif'. I believe it should be src='/images/warning.gif' from production but I'm not sure if I can change it. Please help.

If you have warning.gif in an Images subfolder off your main project's root folder, it should work...is that not the case here?
